Welcome to the 2009 Victorian Disc Golf Open. This will be the first Victorian Open to be held in Melbourne! Come and join us for a weekend of great fun and experience two great Melbourne courses. Featuring a brand new course location, and one classic Melbourne course. 

Bring your arms for Saturday. This course is located at the very hilly Ruffey Lake Park in Doncaster. This course has a bit of everything. Challenging technical shots, very steep holes, and beautiful long open holes, including a monster 270 meter hole.

Sunday.s play will be held at Bundoora Park, the home course for the Melbourne Disc Golf Club. This is a shorter course that requires more precision but is a lot of fun.

To enter, simply register to play in the Registration area.

* 9 other holes will be open for anyone who would rather play more disc golf. With the exception of the Men.s Open Division, scores after lunch will not count toward the tournament results.

Interstate Flights

Players flying in from interstate should fly into Melbourne Tullamarine Airport (Not Avalon Airport). Flying into Avalon Airport is an option, but not recommended. This airport is much closer to Geelong, approx 1hr drive from Melbourne CBD.

Getting from Melbourne Tullamarine to the City

A taxi from Melbourne Airport to Melbourne will take about 20mins and cost between $40-$50.

Take the Skybus ($16 one way) from outside the terminal to the Southern Cross Station in Melbourne City (20 minutes). Please check www.skybus.com.au for full details.
