Welcome to the 2011 Victorian Disc Golf Open. Come and join us for a weekend fun, friends, and of course Disc Golf. Pit your skills against a challenging course in a fantastic location.

Drysdale Sport and Recreation Reserve is a short 20 Minute drive from the heart of Geelong. This location offers a multi faceted 18 hole course requiring a patient mindset and pin point accuracy.

There are many accommodation options for players planning to stay in Geelong for the duration of the Tournament.

Please Note - All accommodation recommendations are based in central Geelong. Travelling to Drysdale will take approx. 15mins by car.

Interstate Flights

JetStar has a terminal at "Avalon" which is much closer to Geelong City than Melbourne International Airport at Tullamarine. This will cut off up to 40-50 minutes travel time. Please check the JetStar website for flight details. JetStar Website

However, from some regions of Australia and abroad, you may not be able to book flights direct to Avalon. If this is the case, the guide below also lists transport options available from Tullamarine.

Transportation

Taxi

From Avalon: Taxi's from Avalon Airport to Geelong City will take around 20 minutes and cost approximately $35.The taxi rank is located just outside the Arrivals Terminal.

From Tullamarine: Taxi's from Tullamarine are not advised!


Shuttle Busses

From Avalon: Avalon Airport Shuttle meets all arriving and departing flights from Avalon Airport on a 7 day per week basis. To book, call (03) 52 788 788. Office hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 4:45pm. Visit www.avalonairportshuttle.com.au for more info.

From Tullamarine: Gull Bus. A Geelong operated airport shuttle service running between Geelong City & Tullamarine Airport. Adult fares cost $30 one way or $55 return. Visit www.gull.com.au for a complete list of fare prices and shuttle times.

Avalon & Tullumarine Airports both provide all of the major car hire companies upon your arrival. Pre-book your vehicle with the details listed below.
